Why Now? Or: Stalin vs. Trotsky, Round Deux
Last weekend, America began a new Near Eastern war against one of the most ancient cultures on earth: Iran. The goal was/is to drop bombs on them for four weeks, pulverizing their military and industrial base so badly that the ordinary Iranians finally rise up and overthrow their evil overlords. Stop me if you've heard this one before.
(Since I began the draft for this, the strategy has changed several times and today, we are up to the plan being other countries bailing out the U.S. in the Strait of Hormuz.)
Within hours, we had reports of sixty dead school girls, ages 7-12 or so, and scores of wounded in a suburb of Tehran. The final tally released later in the week was over 160 dead. Little girls buried in rubble along with teachers and parents.
Concerned Netizens went straightaway to compiling video montages of Trump on the topic of regime change. There are clips of him promising to be a peace president, of decrying Near Eastern wars and the money wasted abroad, which never benefitted America. In one clip, he highlights the $8 trillion sunk in these wars, how they money could've been better spent here in the U.S. to restore/repair roads, bridges, hospitals, etc.
I won't be an insufferable asshole and say something like, "Well, I knew he was going to backstab his base and the American people, so I didn't vote for him based on his treachery in his first term..."
That would be tacky, to say something designed to highlight my predictive powers, my deep knowledge of human nature. So I won't say it here in this blog.
What did the average American gain by the 20 year occupation and retreat from Afghanistan? Recall that American forces appeared to flee that unhappy land in such a hurry that $90 billion or so in military equipment was left in the hands of their enemy, the Taliban. In the weeks that followed, we saw victory parades from Kabul, where U.S. equipment was driven in public review.
The dichotomy between Trump’s earlier rhetoric – going back years – and his volt-face towards war with a 90-million strong country – invites speculation on just how deeply compromised he really is by his decade plus association with Jeffrey Epstein. Wags have taken to calling Trump's second term, the Epstein Administration, since many of us suspect that ol’ Jeffrey is the driver for this terrible waste of human life and treasure.
I don't want to get into this because all roads lead back to that "Shitty Little Country" (SLC), as labeled by a French official over twenty ago in a private conversation, later leaked online of course. People who know, know. Those who still don't know, never will. All the lines are drawn out at this point.
Is anti-Semanticism a symptom of decline as is claimed? Or is it a predictable reaction once the frog realizes – albeit too late – that his civilization is doomed to extinction because of, among other things, Semanticism? Many Americans now openly talk about the influence of SLC on U.S. policy, how it's drained us, brought us to the cusp of a major war with the new Axis of Evil: Russia, China and Iran. North Korea, now a nuclear state, has been dropped from the list first crafted under Shrub's tenure.
America is nearing the end of the road and this, in a nutshell, is the answer to the question in the title of this blog: Why now? We and the whole enterprise known as Western civilization have reached final senility and our putative allies – our dearest friend in the whole wide world in fact, SLC – see what we cannot see about ourselves. We’re nearing our expiration date.
Time is running out for SLC as a corollary then, so there’s the urgent need to squeeze the last juice out of Uncle Sam before tossing him in the bin. While we are only days into a new war with Iran, Naftali Bennett has already directed our attention to the next target after Iran – the NATO member state Turkey. Bennett is a former PM of SLC, so he thinks strategically, in big terms, with planned goals measured in years and decades.
"Poor Uncle Sam is barely hanging on, but he still has some wealth, some nice antiques and valuables locked away. We may as well use them up, for our own good health and betterment! He won't even miss them!"
SLC is in its own pickle, having hitched its wagon to Uncle Sam and his steady checks and unflinching support, absolute lifeblood when it was just getting going as the plucky new nation fabricated out of thin air. When I say "hitched," I mean commandeered.
"Why Sam even helped fund a SLC-led genocide that is still going on today, but great a guy as he is, he has lived beyond his means in that 14-room mansion off of Maple St. Yep, old Sam inherited quite a bit of his money, added a little to the pile when he was younger, but as life went on, his tastes, his needs became untethered from reason. His creditors extended him so much on the basis of his family name, in view of their past contributions to the community and what not, that they are now forced to make the call. Banks are not charities, doncha know, and there are liens against Sam's property and valuables? Can't look the other way anymore."
America is pretty exhausted at this point and our dear president looks like how the nation feels. Busted, empty, running on negative karmic fumes. SLC is having one last go at its multi-decade nemesis, the sayyids of Iran. The lifelong leader of SLC, now 76, boasted on tv that after 40 years, he was overjoyed to see a hot war dished out on his nation's arch-nemesis. Having overseen the genociding of women and kids in his own backyard for the last two years, he still had time to architect a war with a much bigger dog in the neighborhood. The PM will soon go to meet Yahweh, who in turn will give him a heavenly reward for making his children so much safer from those bloodthirsty Iranians.
The thing about Boomers is that even when on death's door step, their lust, their hate, their greed are still there in full power. This is potent fuel to keep one going from lifetime to lifetime. It's not to pick on Boomers as an exercise in ill will, but a moment to look at how, even in very old age, the kilesas are still running an intense hustle on deluded creatures, who are but moments from final breakup. Unfortunately, these particular individuals have never been denied any comfort or pleasure and must initiate (another) war to get a buzz. Ridden into the dirt by defilements: they will rise again in defilement to start it all over again. To paraphrase St. Paul, "what was sown in corruption will be raised yet again for the 10,000,000,000th time in corruption..."
From an Anti-Christ point of view, the Iran war seems like a case of wish fulfillment, of completing a pattern that was defined a long time ago.
Secretary Pete Hegseth wisely rebranded his outfit, changing it from Department of Defense to the Department of War, back in 2025 in what some would say is "foreshadowing." The MAGA voters who pulled the crank for the peace president were told in the first year that war, not defense, was the new game plan. To prepare them for the transition to a "war footing," the department that oversees the Pentagon, the whole military industrial complex, was given a more fitting title.
Hegseth – affectionately known online as "Kegsbreath" – is a member of an intense Christian sect that has, as I understand, a rich and detailed eschatology.
Except when I looked into it, it doesn't. His tiny little sect numbers around 15,000 souls and seems firmly rooted in the teachings of Doug Wilson. Wilson is a prolific writer, publisher and all round pontifex maximus of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC). Online sources say their eschatology is decidedly postmillennialist, which means they believe that Christianity will gradually and inexorably win over most of the human race before the savior returns to complete the mission. It is a much more sanguine version, with the final battle between good and evil being pretty muted, anti-climactic – and not so much of a focus for believers.
Amillennialism on the other hand is the classical configuration of Christian eschatology as it existed before the 19th century. This was the flavor I was raised with as an evangelical and is the one held by Catholicism and Orthodoxy, with some nuances. The question of whether Christ reigns for 1,000 years on earth is not part of this tradition and it wasn’t something my people fussed over.
The gist is: Things go from bad to worse, the Church undergoes persecution and tribulation. Morals decline, everything gets enshittified, wars break out, then plagues and famine ravage the land. A beast system is set up, forcing believers to choose between fidelity to the city of Yahweh or loyalty to the city of Man. Finally, a false prophet appears as a herald of the Anti-Christ (the al-Dajjal in Islam) and finally, the Man of Perdition appears.
For Catholics, there is the promise of the physical destruction of the Roman Church in its buildings, monuments and so on, leaving behind a remnant of believers in imitation of the first persecuted Christians, who met in secret in Roman catacombs. The hierarchy as a whole is corrupt/corrupting/corrupted and easily goes along with the new plan laid out by the Anti-Christ. A false pope is predicted in the 19th century literature, but I'm starting to think it may be a series of popes who are not very popish. Like, the current one is a milder form of Francis, but still into Pachamama based on latest findings.
I asked Claude what the basis of the al-Dajjal in Islam was since it is distinctly Christian, but with roots in older Hebrew texts. Claude's response was that Muslims, Jews and Christians would've been in dialogue at around the time of the hadith compilations, which is where Islam's Anti-Christ figure first appears. He is not mentioned in the Quran at all, just the later commentary tradition.
This got me to thinking: If Muslims knew of the Anti-Christ and wrote at length about what his appearance would entail, then it would be a kind of snapshot from a thousand years ago into what Christians believed about him. Why? Because Christians talking to Muslims in 800-900 CE would've been sharing their understanding of the Anti-Christ, thus shaping the Muslim world's view of him. Muslims of course altered what they received to make it fit their theology; for example, Jesus reigns 40 years on earth after killing al-Dajjal, then dies. This is because to Muslims, Jesus is still a mortal man, not a deity. The 9th century BCE would've been the period in which the hadiths were being written.
What the Christians shared then is anything but post or premillennial since it follows the same basic course as outlined by Charles Upton in his work on the Anti-Christ. Islam preserves a much more faithful version of the Christian eschatology than do sects like Hegseth's or any number of other millennialists groups. If Hegseth is himself of a different eschatological opinion than his congregation – which is possible – then there may be a theological motivation to war with Iran. It seems unlikely. Islam doesn't have any concept of a millennial period since this wasn't on the minds of their Christian interlocutors. Jesus dies forty years after the final battle. He's kind of an Aragorn figure.
I don’t believe the strategic decision to bomb Iran is motivated by theology. It has been picked up by the evangelicals in middle management as a talking point however.
Back to the SLC and the Epstein Administration. The complete and utter betrayal of his backers, the independents and so on has led to speculation that Trump is demented, tired, and easily manipulated by his inner circle. By the time the Semantics Kushner and Witkoff are done with him, it’s time for the Christian Zionists like Kegsbreath to pop by the Oval Office and do some more war pushing. It’s too much and the old man folds like a cheap suit. “Fine, you’ve convinced me that Iran is going to nuke America and take over the Near East. Let’s stop ‘em!”
I was talking to a relative the other day, ex-military, who told me he was glad we were liberating Iranians. So, exactly 25 years after we were told about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, we are in another Near Eastern war to wipe out the very same. This is how you know humans, all of us, go through life with a consciousness completely colonized by patterns, words, forms, habits, cultural framings that we are not really anything at all but the intersection of these in a biological form.
This sounds harsh, cold, nihilistic. Or it sounds truthful, and when the truth is told and the veil pulled back, the real work of practicing perception begins. This separates the real from the not real. And that possibility is exciting, interesting, entertaining and the only real work of life. It's not raising loving children, or being nice, or being a pillar of the community. It's learning to see. The other stuff, the other narratives have all been done to death. Literally.
The Reformation was a revival of Semanticizing tendencies within the Christian religion. Those tendencies go back to its beginnings, but Catholicism had managed to keep a lid on it by removing readings from the Old Testament from the daily and Sunday liturgies. For centuries, Christian worshipers knew the Psalms, but not the Torah proper. When the Reformation came along with its sola scriptura rule of faith, suddenly, a large chunk of Christendom became infected with Semanticizing inclinations. I suspect much of the brutality of the post-Reformation period came from a closer study of the Torah, its angry god and barbaric practices. Semanticism was a plague on the early Christians, with one faction maintaining the need to preserve kosher and other ritual laws from the Torah, while the other framed the new covenant of Christ as a replacement, a supersession of anti-types that were preparatory only in nature. The latter party won, but the tendency to Semanticize has remained with Christians and, like herpes, flared up again with the Protestants. A scratch here and suddenly, POOF!, the boil appears.
At one point, most Protestants with a deep attachment to the Old Testament were tempted to reinstitute dietary laws, customs and so on. In the older books, there was an anti-popish interpretation to be had, with the strict injunctions against idolatry. What could be more idolatrous than statues of saints in churches all over Europe? Were these not a continuation of the idol worshipers who lived amidst the Israelites of the old books, pulling them away from the true worship of Yahweh, into child sacrifice and so on?
Seventh Day Adventists are probably the most Judaizing of the latter day Protestant sects. The ones I've known kept their own variants of dietary laws and only worship on Saturday, like their Jewish brethren.
The outbreak of another Near East war reminded me of a book I read in 1990. It discussed the question that confronted the Communists after they took out the tsar: Do we consolidate the gains here in Mother Russia, or do we push our revolutionary energy forward into other countries as soon as possible, strike while the passions are high, the iron is hot, the proletariat restless?
The two camps were the internationalists, led by Trotsky; and the Stalinists, led of course by Joseph Stalin.
Stalin wanted to make Russia strong in its communism so that it could export it abroad, safe behind a wall of industrial and economic power. Russia after the revolution was too riddled with White Russians, backsliders and reactionary forces. These had to be dealt with first if international communism was to succeed. Remove the speck from your own eye before going after the one in your neighbor’s…
To grossly simplify, that is what we are facing now, with the Biden/Trump administrations. At this time, Trump/Trotsky is cutting loose, having his way on the world stage. Biden/Stalin were the previous iteration. Allow me to explain the parallels used here in more detail.
When Biden came into office, intelligent people knew he was very damaged and unfit for his role as leader of the free world. We also knew he would have handlers, people who behind the scenes would drive the ship of state, setting down domestic and foreign policies while being unaccountable, unanswerable to the public. To this day, we don’t really know who ran his administration, but we do know there were a very high number of Semantics in the West Wing. It was openly praised as the most Semantic of any administration in history, these Bolsheviks of the Stalinist stripe.
The Biden-led Bolsheviks wanted to secure the homeland first, make it safe for their ideology. There was no better way of doing than by opening the borders, overwhelming the last remaining Heritage American strongholds and completely destroying what remained of the uniquely American character in the institutions. During the Biden years, there was a special focus on forcing people to take the jabs, of pushing transvestite causes, letting parents (mostly white mothers) mutilate their children’s genitals with the help of “health care” providers. In other words, transgressivism was the real agenda, a major cultural battle to completely demoralize the last vestiges of the old America while ushering in a new, unconstrained system of hyper-oligarchy, super global capitalism.
Hunter Biden was the poster boy for the brave new world being built over the rubble of the old republic.
When you see countries like Venezuela emptying their prisons out and sending their residents to America, you are a defeated nation in every sense of the word. Americans did not resist. We rolled over and waited for the end. Whipped by a tiny, very poorly run socialist country. You can only watch helplessly as drug gangs formed by Venezuelan ex-cons proliferate in whitetopias, like those found in parts of Tennessee. Cultural revolution requires spreading fear, terror and anxiety into remote places where communities are still somewhat cohesive, intact.
The Second Amendment enthusiasm of the Obama years – always vocal, always present in the background of public discourse – has given way to the realization that Americans will never take up arms to defend themselves. Ever. The Second Amendment is already dead in spirit now. When your government opened the borders to Venezuelan drug cartels and when your young women were brutally raped and murdered by invaders, you did nothing. So, no one cares about your fucking gun collection and how bad ass all your gear is.
Part of the death of gun culture is to be found with the aging out of Boomers and GenXers. (I confess to liking guns and shooting paper targets and yes, I was one of those believers in muh Constitution once upon a time...)
In the years immediately following the Soviet Uni0n’s formation, sexual libertinism became quite common. Laws against anti-Semanticism were passed and adultery, abortion and sexual exploration were tolerated if not tacitly encouraged, at least until they became disruptive to the new regime. When this point was reached, the lid was put back on the sexual genie bottle.
To completely eradicate the old Christian faith and bourgeois morals, a cultural revolution rooted in an antinomian instinct against sexual taboo was required. Biden’s team fed this fire from 2021-2025, exporting transvestitism around the globe via very small USAID grants. These were grifts, symbolic only in cultural value, but psychological boosters for the degenerates carrying them out in the machinery of the bureaucratic state. If you can divert tax payer dollars into pushing drag queens in Latin America, you have passed a test of sorts and can move onto even bigger, grander social engineering projects. We were treated to photos of a homosexual baring his ass, getting pounded by another homosexual in a congressional chamber. Cultural revolution was everywhere, in little eddies, in large tidal pools, all interconnected.
The focus was on the domestic front, of tearing down, via the Semantic revolutionary spirit, the unreconstructed attachments of toothless hillbillies, bible thumpers, anti-vaxxers, the hopelessly cis-gendered, etc.
Biden issued a proclamation declaring Trans Day on Easter Sunday, a backslap to the Christian peoples of America. Being a good Catholic who never saw an abortion bill he couldn’t back, Biden and the many like him who have remained in good standing despite decades of doing evil, are a big reason why I regretted ever wasting time with Christianity. It isn’t a serious religion at this point or at any point in my lifetime.
Episcopal conferences have much to say about keeping the borders open to help themselves out and, by extension, the oligarchs who run society. Biden and his administration were first and foremost about sexual revolution for the masses. It distracted from the ruthless butchery of human beings in Gaza.
Many have observed that the Christian religion always takes the side of political power. To say that some or many churchmen were sympathetic to Herr Hitler is to say that some or many churchmen are sympathetic now to open borders and the replacement of indigenous populations throughout the Western world. The church sides with power.
The free flow of the most addictive and toxic drugs ever devised in a lab went unabated, the Biden/Stalin administration having nothing to say to the Chinese about their undeclared war on the dislocated underdog classes in American society.
“Motherfucker, you will take the goddamn Covid jab, or you will lose your job! No jab, no motherfucking job!”
The Biden presidency was him speaking angrily in rants, out of vanished lips, eyes clenched, skin frail and tight, ready to split open like thin old newspaper, a grimacing skull of death. Years of plastic surgery gave him a unsettling countenance. He came across as a mashup of Fire Marshall Bill and Skeletor.
Recall that hundreds of thousands have died from fentanyl ODs in the last decade, but the Biden/Stalin camp was more worried about forcing Covid jabs on hillbilly holdouts. When of course his executive order was struck down as being outside of OSHA’s power to regulate, American society went on just fine. There were no grim, dark winters of mass deaths as the man from Scranton prophesied. At no point did anyone in the establishment call Biden out on his dire warnings, or his incredible overreach into the livelihoods and personal health of the entire goddamn country, all in the name of an experimental vaccine founded on new technologies for a weak ass flu that was no more dangerous than any other flu.
As of now, the number of Covid deaths worldwide have dropped to around 1.7 million as revisions have been made.
To reiterate: The biggest spectacle in recent history was a nothing burger, no more lethal than any other seasonal flu outbreak. The deeper damage was done though; inflation was let loose, drag queens were installed in the public square to guide children, public trust was shattered, polarization was furthered, hardened. The latest Rasmussen poll says that there are now 56% of Americans who believe that the Covid jabs have killed or maimed someone they know. This is an even higher percentage than the one they did a few years back.
No nation can have that many people believing their government mandated a vaccine which killed loved ones and still remain coherent. Yes, the government killed people I knew by pushing a poisonous jab... and yes, the government has directly made the execution of thousands of Gazans possible... and yes, the government should provide the homeless with housing and job training. Because a government run by and for psychopaths will also want to help the lot of the weakest, most vulnerable members of society.
Many of us suspected that the woke revolution was aimed at producing a sharp, violent reaction. It was provocative, meant to draw out the White Americans for a final battle against the forces of progress: in this case, the oligarchy’s funded foot soldiers, Antifa, who were ready to kick things off. During the Biden years, we saw Garland’s film Civil War (2024) released, a nod to the fractured state of the American psyche and a possible aspiration for a resolution to the heavy tension of a nation deeply divided.
But no civil war came.
Instead, the internationalist wing of the Semantics shifted focus to foreign policy. While the Biden/Bolshevik’s backed the ethnic cleansing of the SLC’s indigenous minority, practically leveling an entire city and turning its inhabitants into corpse piles, starved prisoners, refugees, gang rape victims, etc., it wasn’t enough. Time was — and is — running out on the American project.
AI was a massive accelerant for Troskyites’ plans and ambitions for the Greater SLC project. With AI agents soon capable of doing most legal, medical and other white collar work, it is only a matter of time before the tax base of local, state and federal governments collapses as layoffs crash in great waves over the economic system. The already incredible financial strains under which the U.S. operates will break completely as more pink slips are issued. 2026 looks to be the year for a sea change and a demented, isolated, 80-year old narcissistic president will oversee all of it.
Cue Donald J. Trump and his Semantic coterie of the international persuasion. These are the Trotskyites of late stage terminal American decline. The revolutionary spirit only barely flickers, but there is still enough energy to ignite a revolution abroad, in the Near East. There are enough Christian evangelicals — Protestant Semanticizers — to provide electoral support to international Semanticism’s most ambitious, multi-decade plot: War and overthrow of the sayyids of Iran.
The evangelicals are also a moribund demographic and again, time is running out. Wait another 10 or 20 years, there will be too much racial fragmentation to build the Greater SLC Coalition of the Willing. White evangelicals are useful idiots but they can only be that if there are enough of them to matter. The Gazan genocide in SLC was made possible by the thoroughly Semanticized Christian evangelicals, the energetic ones who raised cash to put bad people into public office.
The conflict between the Kushner/Witkoff internationalists and the Blinkenites of the Biden era rests on a difference in opinion as to the urgency of the Greater SLC project. Blinken wanted to clobber the White Americans, reduce them to an ash pile like any good cultural Bolshevik would, lest they rise up and cause problems later.
Then, then, you could get really serious about dealing with Iran and eventually, Turkey, when Bolshevism had complete control of America. This was Stalin’s position in the years after taking power as head of a large, multi-ethnic empire. Button down the home front, then scatter the seeds of revolution abroad.
The Kushner/Witkoff camp sees the clock is much closer to midnight, understands that mopping up the White Americans in a civil war is a nice-to-have only, not a strict requirement to launch the expansion of Israel into the areas promised to Abraham by Yahweh. The demographic glide path for the American hillbillies shows them in the dust by the end of the century, victims of collapsing birth rates and economic hardship. Let the dead bury the dead. You do not need open borders to solve the white problem and besides, there are always casualties to Semantic-inspired chaos. This wing does not see the need for active management of the domestic destruction of America.
Meanwhile, Trump has, true to his treacherous spirit, announced that H1-Bs will be used to continue replacing American white collar workers. Thus, the internationalists are not too busy that they can’t throw concrete blocks to the drowning American middle class. There is no pure practitioner of either Stalinism or internationalism. Both have a time in place and while you may favor one, you still have to dabble in the other.
And this is how we got to war.
Kushner is a member of Chabad, a mystical sect of Semanticism with a messianic bent. Messiah is just around the corner, the sect’s highest luminaries have even been elevated to the heavens to speak with him about his plans, his timeline. These seers know who he is and what signs to look out for in the coming days.
Blinken the Stalinist is secular, although very identified with being a Semantic. He was the one who brought up his heritage in the days following October 7th, to show solidarity with the inhabitants of SLC as they fought bravely against children, women and elderly people who owned next to nothing. Blinken is about the sex and liberation, Kushner is about Chabadnik messianism. (And really big payouts for contracts obtained as a result of his public work.).
But in the final analysis, they are members of the same tribe and the Gaza policy didn’t change at all between Biden and Trump: the murders, rapes and starvation continue, and the Trump/Kushner families will line their pockets with real estate and consulting deals. This is the only difference between Kushner and Blinken — the former is going to make a mint off his public duties, same as he did the first go around. Blinken is no doubt a multi-millionaire, but he's nowhere near Kushner's net worth.
Either way, we are just cattle watching the two wings of the same bird of prey fight over our future. Our people line up gladly to drop the bombs, kill the school girls, blast UNESCO sites and murder Tehran factory workers who build space heaters for a living.
There is some asshole who used a chat bot in all likelihood to send two Tomahawk missiles into a school filled with children. According to one military analyst I saw, one of the missiles would’ve ejected its fuel as it was over target, so that upon impact, there would be great devastation from the ensuring intense fire and heat. This squares with the reports from Iran, that the parents of these young girls could not even identify some of them because they were burnt to a crisp.
It’s also known that the girls were enrolled at a private school, and that their fathers were IRGC officers at the nearby base. The American empire is so evil that it is not out of the question to think that the deliberate murder of these children was part of the plan. So completely demoralize the officer corp that it destabilizes and weakens the military leadership.
Are we cattle? Are we men? It’s hard to say.
We are just living in a Semantic world at this point and we do whatever we are told.
