The Covid Experience: Post Jab
By July of 2020, I was paying very little attention to Covid and wasn't really following current events much. We were still required to wear face masks in some stores but I ignored them, the one exception being a local Guitar Center that absolutely required masking in order to paw and buy their delicacies. I went along with it because they had something – well, several somethings – I wanted.
As summer turned into autumn, I was hearing more and more about the New Vaccines. (This blog post is not brought to you by Pfizer!) I have been staunchly anti-vaxx since the early 1990s.
My best friend in college was smart, funny and full of extroverted energy. He was also older than me by several years and had been a school teacher before deciding to go back and get yet another degree. It was through him I learned about the case against the vaccine. Sadly, he died recently in his sleep, just weeks after we had begun reconnecting over video chat to reflect on the horrors and humor of life, and exactly one week before we were supposed to meet at my place for some time in meatspace together.
We did so much laughing. He was still staunchly anti-vaxx, watching with horror as the Covid jab made its way like the Grim Reaper winding through a field of healthy souls.
He left college without another degree. He got married to a classmate, they moved away and had several kids (these were practicing Catholics). Their kids were never vaccinated for anything and all of them grew up to be very healthy. No ear infections, no strange allergies, no crippling autism.
Tim and I were anti-vaxx before it was cool and in the pre-Internet days, we had booklets and newsletters to keep us informed about the predations of Mr. Big Money. I also knew who Anthony Fauci was from my study of HIV-AIDS through books Tim loaned me.
By the early Aughts, I was in a long term relationship. At this point, I didn't know anyone who had been injured or killed by a vaccine. Through my girlfriend, I met a nice couple. Newlyweds, they quickly produced a child since both were in their 30s and under pressure to get a proper nest going.
We met the happy little boy, a bundle of energy and fresh, precious adrenochrome. His parents were educated, very well to do and lived in a tony neighborhood in the home of a former executive of a well known company. These were Good Parents living the Good Life. By all rights, the new baby should have gone on to have siblings, all of them in theory prepared for a successful, healthy life by loving successful parents.
Sally relished being a mother and took the kid in for his first jabs. She wanted to do everything right. Within days, he went from happy bundle of smiles and gleeful jabbering to dull and lifeless ragdoll. To her credit, Sally knew she had fucked up and returned to the doctor immediately for follow up exams. An autism diagnosis was issued. The parents were devastated by their and their child's misfortune.
I learned all this from my girlfriend and I shared my doubts with her about vaccines and the medical profession more generally. We stopped hanging out with them right around this time as the couple turned towards exploring options for treatments. Sally openly blamed the jabs.
Years later, I worked with a Healthcare Professional. She took her very young kid in for the first scheduled jabs and within days, he was dead. I, Hermit, am not exactly a social butterfly and even I have run into victims of the jab IRL, pre-Covid.
As an aside, in the days following the mounting deaths from the Covid jabs, a few police detectives spoke of sudden infant deaths they had investigated over their careers, how they were usually within a short time of a vaccination. I hope more and more of them come out and relate their observations.
The stories are all out there and have been for years. The Internet's growth brought out more and more evidence against vaccines and long before Covid, there were Angry White Liberal Mothers on cable tv shows and in print haranguing toothless hillbilly women for denying Science.
It is amazing how much vaccines have become associated in the public's mind with Progress & Civilization.
On the Internet, RFK Jr. and his Children's Health Defense (CHD) provided sober assessments of data from the real world. The operation hasn't grown because of fear pandering, but because there are a lot of people with stories that are strangely similar to the ones I've related here from my own life. You can find CHD on Rumble and listen to the testimonials of those wounded by various vaccines.
This to say, the Cult of Vaccine Science had already been formed years before Covid. Its adherents were mediocre minds from middling 4-year colleges with shitty liberal arts degrees. Or shitty science degrees. (The quality of everything at the tail end of the Kali Yuga suffers greatly.) These are the kinds of people who only own a handful of books that they purchased while still in college.
A big part of establishing your social value is to pledge allegiance to every flag of midwittery, wherever it may wave, whenever you can. College is capstone to a long career of being taught how to think like lower rung members in the homo sapiens dominance hierarchy. Some people break out of it, most never do because the college experience is about economic and social status, less about lifelong learning.
No reasonable discussion is to be had with vaxx zealots. If you ask one whether it makes sense to be giving kids dozens of vaccines – GenX-ers got MMR and even that is too much – there are energetic protestations on behalf of Science and Progress, of earnest concern for the well being of the community and so on. The bourgeoisie taste for stacking milquetoast social platitudes to the ceiling is breathtaking. Many dumb, easily manipulated people genuinely believe that their children are at risk from free range humans and their fear/anger is understandable. It's been hyped by a media, a medical establishment and a political class that thrives financially from fake health crises.
When religions like Christianity die, the pent energy for do-gooderism in White People doesn't go away – it just finds new holes to shoot out of, like milk from the nose of a 6th grader. Many midwits believed in the 90s and Aughts that their children's health was in danger from grubby un-Scienced youths. There were stories about measles outbreaks from time to time along with attempts on the part of Right Thinking People to link the growth in anti-vaxx sentiment with the re-emergence of long vanquished illnesses.
I feel for parents and can understand their fear-based reactions to perceived threats against their children. The human animal is so irrational.
All of this to say, I should've been amply prepared for the Covid jab zealotry since I had observed it for years in its proto-form.
I wasn't.
One thing the old vaccines had was a reputation for being tested over many years and in controlled trials. As I related in the earlier post, the people who were at risk from Covid were fatties and the very old, not young or middle aged adults. Certainly not children. Since we all have smart phones and other connected devices, everyone was aware of this point. Thus, any talk of a vaccine was dumb. Or so I thought.
Having a smart device doesn't mean people use it for smart purposes, like reading useful information. When the Covid vaccines dam breaks and the scale of the devastation is finally admitted, there will be people who will say, "If only we had known. If only we had supercomputers in the palm of our hand that could've warned us."
By the early autumn of 2020, we were hearing more and more about the vaccine from Trump, who was running on it as a huge success of his administration that was just days from realization. Come Nov. 7th, we might even see the nectar of Science being drizzled into the veins of a grateful people long gripped by a strange, weird flu.
Operation: Warp Speed was almost complete. Kamala Harris swore off taking the vaccine in a debate with VP Pence; but just two months later, she would be out cheerleading for it along with her boss, the same doddering fool who would go on in the autumn of 2021 to inform his fellow citizens that they would be forced to take the jab or lose their jobs. The CDC reported that 81.6% of Americans had at least one jab, but this wasn't enough. You needed all of them and those 18.4%, the holdouts like me? We were in for a winter of sickness and death.
"Our patience has run out."
But back in 2020, I assumed that they would only dole out the jab to frail, elderly nursing home patients, the people considered at most risk by the middle brows (instead of the fatties like the CDC reported), and kill a bunch of them. Big Pharma would get its thirst for blood slaked and would crawl back into its coffin. After a few months of disaster, the jab would be withdrawn with apologies and payouts and that would be it. Trump would be blamed (rightly) and he would fuck off into a very dark corner of history. Or Mar-a-Lago.
Wrong again.
We've done all this already with Gardasil and oxycotin.
In these cases, Big Pharma paid out some cash and walked away an overall winner in profits. 500,000 fentanyl deaths and no one went to jail although fines were paid. It's not clear whether those exceeded the profits obtained from dispensing a highly addictive pain killer. Do courts even try to wipe out ill gotten gains when they levy a fine?
Despite all statistical evidence from the official organs and against all common sense, the jab was rolled out beginning in December 2020, less than a year after the outbreak. By January and February of 2021, it was reaching distribution through pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens, usually by appointment only. This bottleneck was quickly widened by an amazing supply chain that was able to move the juice ¡rapido! even as other consumer goods remained missing from store shelves.
At no point did any senior figure in the press, medicine or politics ask, "How come these companies were able to crank out billions of vials of an experimental concoction that requires special storage at super cold temperatures and do so within the strictest safety guidelines known in manufacture?"
At work, teammates mentioned that they had already gotten it. I was stunned. "Why would you get an untested, experimental vaccine for a mild flu?"
The truth is some of them were pretty heavy and fatties in general know the score on Covid. They were at an elevated risk of death. Their reaction was still dumb, but at least a little more understandable than the average build physiques I knew who were getting it. They would complain about being worn out post jab and feeling unwell, but they said it was all worth it to avoid getting Covid.
Here are some post-jab vignettes from my world:
My buddy Tom's wife works in Healthcare. She was mandated to get it and took the first jab without any questions.
On the phone later with Tom, he said, "This thing has just about killed her, Heedless. For the first week, she thought she was going to die. I'm not lying. She said to me, 'Baby, I cannot remember ever feeling this bad.'"
She did not make it to work the first week after the initial dose and over the next several weeks, Tom reported that she was still feeling off, not herself. She resolved to skip the second dose.
"So Tom you're not going to take it right? That's the lesson here right? Right?"
"Heedless, I will never take the jab. Don't need it."
Within months, he had taken two and would later go on to get boosted. How many times, I don't know because I made a rule around this time not to inquire into that stuff. A lot of husbands blew up their own health for the sake of solidarity with their wives, who were far more easily manipulated by the Covid psycho-drama. Women want to protect and this urge, noble as it is, is like all emotions, easily corrupted.
Every part of the Covid jab campaign was designed to turn human altruism to perverse, harmful ends.
Not long after his first doses, Tom ended up in the hospital for several days with pneumonia. When asked what made him change his mind, "Well, you know people were just dying left and right around us and I figured the bomb was going to hit me and given my health, I just couldn't risk it..."
The people who were dying around him were phantasms of the mind or people who were dying because of the jab. His wife Tammy would go on to get a second dose despite saying the first one damned near killed her.
My ex-wife, who lives in eastern Europe, let me know that she had taken the Sputnik jab. Our divorce had been weird and we still keep in touch. "Are you married again?" "Are you dating?" "Are you taking care of yourself?" Those types of conversations.
"But why?" I asked her.
"I had to. Heedless, I resisted all the way up to the deadline, hoping for a recension. It never came. I never wanted to take it, but I had no choice. It was either that or dismissal."
Victoria is an academic who had landed a more lucrative job as a private operator for a university. The money's good and she didn't have many options outside of it. Well paid specialists don't get to gig hop and she had no interest in giving lectures again to university students.
Victoria is also pretty health conscious, maybe a little on the hypochondriac side of life. She's the last person I would've expected to take the jab.
Her elderly parents took Sputnik and became very ill with Covid anyway. She admitted that she had not felt the same since taking the jab and regretted her choice.
I have other stories as well.
One contact mentioned that though he and his wife, a Medical Professional, were opposed to the jab, their immediate family all ran out and got it despite their warnings. His mother's cancer came back with a vengeance, his sister got breast cancer and his mom's boyfriend developed a tumor at exactly the injection site. It had to be surgically removed. All of these stories happened within a couple of months of vaccination. His wife reported fellow nurses who wouldn't stop bleeding, their periods lasting sometimes 30 days. Patients were coming in with sicknesses picked up out of nowhere.
Here it is 2024 and only a few days ago I learned that a family member, a lifelong Healthcare Professional, has been diagnosed with late stage terminal cancer. The survival rate is low for this particular type and the disease so advanced, the doctors sent him home with, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do." He will die shortly with his children and grandchildren close by.
Any thought that the jabs would do their damage in the first three years and then cease has evaporated. People are still dying today from sudden heart attacks, strokes and infections.
Mysterious Lee, Sudden Lee, Unexpected Lee: This family has touched so many lives over the past couple of years.
Over the next few years, the turbo cancers and heart attacks will continue to take lives prematurely.
The deaths of jab victims and the Russian-Ukrainian War have been difficult to live through. Not difficult if you don't pay attention to the news. Life in America right now goes on for many like nothing has happened, thanks to the cocooning in virtual reality. Ignorance is bliss.
We live inside our electronic worlds and death becomes removed from daily experience. The Powers That Be count on this and as the years have gone by since the rollout of the jab, I've become more despondent over the inertia shown at all levels of society.
John Campbell noted that the excess death rate in the UK over the past couple of years exceeds the total number of civilian deaths suffered during the Battle of Britain. The number is so amazing, so astounding and yet there is indifference. Just think: Fewer Brits died from daily bombing runs carried out by the Luftwaffe over London and Coventry than from the Covid jabs. Campbell's reportage is from official stats of His Majesty's Government.
We are just getting started. Cancers and heart disease will likely continue to climb over the next several years, placing an incredible burden on the health care systems.
In dhamma, mindfulness and meditation and the various other practices like metta and renunciation have the effect of making you more sensitive to pain in some respects. When you see other folks suffering, you can feel moments of empathy for them, like you are suffering with them. Knowing that things come and go as part of impersonal processes and that even if many millions more die today from the jab and the various wars which threaten to spread like wildfire, it's happened many, many times before.
Buddhism is pretty unique in holding matter of factly that there are 10,000 world systems and that they all come and go, sometimes in spectacular ways. Resist the urge to interpret this number literally. I think the Buddha was saying that there are a lot of worlds in this cosmos where life abounds. They come and go like all things.
It's not exactly consolation for those who've lost loved ones or will. Or will themselves die from the toxin.
Dhamma can appear as grounds for passive neutrality in the face of enormous suffering. 50% of Americans say now in a Pew Poll that they believe they know someone who has died from the jab. There will be increasingly loud calls for Nuremberg 2.0 Trials even if there is no increase in all-cause mortality.
"Why do the wicked prosper?"
